u dont have to use gom i use gom because it has all the built in codecs for the files i use u can download a codec pack tho if u prefer windows media player etc

How do I copy dvds onto a hard drive?

Okay bit of a complicated one this! I want to copy DVDs onto a portable hard drive. I have a DVD rewriter and presume I would do this via the PC but how exactly? Is there some software I need to download? Would really appreciate an idiot’s step-by-step guide on this.
Look for some software called ‘DVD shrink 3.2′ on google. Download it, and run it, then choose your output destination (ur portable hard-drive) and click ‘backup DVD’. Can’t remember what type of file this converts it into, but it will play in windows media player. If u need 2 change the file type (i doubt u will) look for ‘3GP converter’ on google.

I have several dvds of my gospel group & I want to copy them on my computer, so that I can upload them on YouTube. I don't have a burner for dvds on my computer, so can someone please help me?
You need atleast a DVD Player in order to download the videos.
You need to rip the files from the dvd and convert them to be able to play them on your computer. Search for Free DVD Ripper software or shareware.
